Beginning obedience introduces many new commands to your puppy and also continues socialization. This class offers a unique environment not seen in many other training schools. Often beginning classes include puppies and adult dogs. The reason that they have been separated is to offer a more advanced environment for puppies. Puppies under 11 months of age are still at a time when they are more open to new things and are also less likely to have behaviors that need to be untrained, because of this class often moves much faster than one with adult dogs.

In addition, there is still play time in this class, which often cannot be offered in classes with adult dogs due to differences in ages, sizes and temperament.
