Sandi Munson
Sandi came to work for The Good Pup in December
2007 and has been involved with sitting, as well as training.
Sandi was in 4-H for about 18 years working with a variety of
animals including, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and
the occasional rat or two. She has owned horses, dogs, cats, and
rabbits most of her life. Sandi has also worked with cows, both
dairy and meat cows and a goat here and there. She is currently
bottle raising big horn sheep!
Sandi lives with three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and
a horse. Sandi is currently working hard to get her new Flat Coated
Retriever puppy, Coal, trained for conformation shows (maybe we'll
see coal at Westminster). Sandi has previous
training experience from Sumner Veterinarian Hospital where she was
involved in teaching obedience class for almost 2 years before
moving to Pullman to peruse her degree in Animal Science. Sandi
plans on graduating in Spring 2009 and moving onto graduate school
to study companion animal behavior.
Sandi will sit dogs, cats, some exotics and most large
animals.

Karen Johnson BS
Karen grew up in rural Western
New York in a family that always had pets, from
dogs and cats to canaries and hamsters. She attended
junior college
at Sterling College
in Northern Vermont, where farm chores were part of the curriculum.
She learned to care for chickens and sheep as well as how to care
for two stodgy old Belgians.
She also learned to drive a team and to skid logs with a horse in
the college's woodlot.
Karen and her husband and daughter live in
Moscow with
three dogs (small, medium and large--we like variety), one very loud
cat (who thinks she's a dog), six chickens, and a tank full of fish
and shrimp. Karen recently earned her BS in
Environmental Science, with a minor in Entomology (oh, yes,
there have been many insect pets, as well!). She is currently
employed with the
University of Idaho, working for the Fish Ecology Research
Lab on campus.
Karen will sit dogs, cats, small rodents, poultry, and some exotics
and most large animals.
