What makes classes taught through The
Good Pup different from the others? To start class sizes are small, usually around 6 dogs,
so that you and your pup will receive plenty of personal attention.
We also have use recent research to bring the most advanced training
methods. We do not use archaic compulsive training methods of the
past that rely on fear and punishment. The philosophy of our teaching style is to first show you how, then help you walk through the exercise and lastly test to see that you've learned the proper technique.
We also take a unique approach to training by implementing many different styles. Not all dogs are the same and not all dogs respond to the same training method.
We use few corrections and we never use any physical force. It is our thought that the most effective and efficient training both communicates to your dog the behaviors you like and
the behaviors you don't like.
You will also find with each class the ability to talk with the instructor
before or after every class to address behavior and training issues and you will also have contact with them via email and phone. This is a program that is set up to see you and your
pup succeed. Don't let your dog become another statistic of the many dogs surrendered to animal shelters due to poor manners and behavioral problems.
