Checklist

Here is the list of items you will need for class:

• Vaccination Records. All puppies and dogs must be current on vaccinations. They will need to have DHPP or DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies. Puppy kindergarten requires that the first series of vaccinations be done 7 days before the first class and be kept current during class.

• A buckle collar. Choke, Pinch or Prong collars will not be allowed in class.

• A 4-6 foot leash made of fabric or leather. No metal--this is how dogs break teeth.

• Soft treats. You will need to bring with to each class some yummy treats. Crunchy treats take to long to eat, so please chose something easy for your dog to eat. Here are some examples: cooked chicken, hot dogs, white cheese, meat balls, etc. Please cut your treats into pea size portions.

• A hungry dog. Don't feed dinner or your pup may not be interested in working for those yummy treats.

• Poop bags. For those taking classes at Alpine Animal Hospital there is a pooper scooper and trash can to the left of the ramp. For those taking classes at Gladish you will need poop bags. Please clean up after your dog or we may loose the privilege of using this facility.

• If you intend to have a minor attend class without an adult please send an email before class, so that we may discuss if this is appropriate.
