Advanced obedience
is great for the dog that can do basic obedience items like sit,
down, come and stay, but seem to unravel in public or when guests
arrive. Our advanced obedience class is structured around the
Canine Good
Citizen Program (CGC) through AKC. At the end of the course you
will have the option of taking the CGC AKC
test. To find out more about specific items covered please visit the
AKC website.
The goal of this class is to have a well mannered dog that people love to have around. Many people also use this course to aid in training therapy dogs. Many nursing homes recognize the CGC test for their visiting therapy dogs. Quick list of items covered:
