Puppy class is designed to get your puppy on the right track as soon as possible. Proper socialization is the key to a well mannered dog. In class a variety of topics are covered including potty training, health care, basic grooming and beginning obedience commands. The main commands taught are sit, down and come.

Puppies that start their training in puppy class often excel in the more advanced levels of training. They also become accustom to performing commands in a environment with other dogs and people. A dog that is not well socialized can later in life have problems interacting with other dogs and people. Dogs can become very fearful and timid or even worse can become aggressive and dominate. Puppy class is also a time when problem behaviors can be addressed, such as mouthing, barking and submissive peeing.
